Admins now have more configuration options when it comes to which Fields should be used and the order they appear on Forms and Popups. This feature is being deployed in two parts initially focused on Mutual Objectives, Initiatives, Locations, Product Lines, and Internal Goals. The remaining objects will have the ability in July '26.
Here are the options Admins now have:
- Ability to turn off out of box system fields that are not required such as 'Confidential' or 'Description'
- Ability to mark these same system fields as Required or Read Only
- Ability to rearrange the order of system fields, custom fields, and classifications on Forms and popups
- Ability to 'Promote' fields to the features corresponding Widgets
This is done using the 'Fields' tab under a Customer Type. Here is an example going through the Initiative object:
On the Fields tab, select Initiatives object. Here you can drag Fields as 'In Use' or 'Not In Use'. Also, Fields can be marked as Required or Read Only as well as placed in Sections if desired. Finally, 'Promoted' fields will be the fields that all on Widgets.
