Dashboard Tab
The Dashboard tab is the default landing view of the User Network page. It displays a sortable, searchable list of all users in your Valkre environment.
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Avatar | Displays the user’s profile photo or their default Valkre avatar if no photo has been uploaded. |
| First Name | The user’s first name. Click the column header to sort alphabetically by first name. |
| Last Name | The user’s last name. Click the column header to sort alphabetically by last name (default sort). |
| Title | The user’s job title as entered in their profile. |
| Type | The user type assigned to this user. User Type helps with higher level reporting. |
| TIP | Click any column header to sort the user list by that column. An arrow icon appears next to the active sort column. Click the same header again to reverse the sort order. |
Searching for a User
Use the Search bar in the top-left of the user list to quickly locate a specific user.
|
| TIP | If you are unsure of the exact spelling, type the first few characters. The search is not case-sensitive and will match any part of the name. |
Filtering by User Type
The Type dropdown lets you narrow the user list to a specific user type, making it easy to audit or manage a specific group.
|
NOTE | User types are configured in Account Settings → Users → User Types. If you do not see the type you expect in the dropdown, contact your Valkre administrator to verify the type has been created. |
Opening a User Record
Click any row in the user list to open that user’s profile. From the user profile you can view and edit their details, assigned role, customer access, and account settings.
Access Status Tab
The Access Status tab provides a detailed, filterable view of every user’s current platform access state, role, login history, and status. It is the go-to screen for onboarding audits, troubleshooting login issues, and monitoring overall user health.
Columns
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| First Name | The user’s first name. Click the header to sort alphabetically. |
| Last Name | The user’s last name. Click the header to sort alphabetically (default sort). |
| Title | The user’s job title as entered in their profile. |
| The email address used as the user’s login credential. | |
| Reports To | The manager or supervisor this user reports to, if configured. |
| Role Name | The Valkre role assigned to the user, which controls their module access and feature visibility. |
| Type | The user type (e.g., SAM, Demo, Extended Team) that further classifies the user. |
| Last Login | The date the user last successfully logged in to Valkre. Blank means the user has never logged in. |
| Status | A color-coded icon showing the user’s current access state (see Status Icons below). |
Status Icons
| Icon | Status | Description |
|---|---|---|
| | Active | The user’s account is fully active. They can log in and have recently accessed the platform. |
| Not Logged In | The user exists in the system but have never logged in. | |
| Over 365 Days | The user hasn’t logged in in over 365 days. | |
| | Over 90 Days | The user hasn’t logged in in over 90 days. |
Filters
The Access Status tab includes four filter controls to narrow the user list:
| Filter | Options | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Search | Free text | Filter the list in real time by typing a user’s first or last name. |
| Type | All / specific | Filter by user type (e.g., SAM, Demo, Extended Team). |
| Role | All / specific | Filter by assigned role name (e.g., Account Admin, Test Role). |
| Status | All / specific | Filter by access status to isolate Active, Inactive, stagnant users |
| TIP | Combine the Status filter (e.g., “Last 90 Days”) with the Role filter to quickly identify users with a specific role who are experiencing access problems — useful when diagnosing a configuration change. |
| NOTE | The Last Login column is one of the most useful audit fields. Users with a Last Login date older than 6–12 months or a blank value may no longer need access and can be candidates for deactivation. |
Adding Users: The Add New Users Modal
Clicking + Add Users on the User Network page opens the Add New Users modal. This dialog lets you add one or multiple users at once, assign their role, and control how they receive access.
Modal Fields
| Field / Control | Description |
|---|---|
| Required. The user’s email address, which becomes their Valkre login credential, unless SSO enabled. Must be unique. | |
| First Name | Required. The user’s first name as it will appear in the user list and throughout the platform. |
| Last Name | Required. The user’s last name. |
| Paste from Excel | A shortcut field. If you have a list of users in Excel with columns Email | First Name | Last Name, you can copy those cells and paste them directly into this field. Valkre will parse the data automatically and populate the rows above. |
| + More | Adds another row to the form so you can enter multiple users in one submission. |
| Select Role | Dropdown to assign a Valkre role to all users being added in this batch. The role controls which modules and features the user can access. |
| Authorize Access | Checkbox (checked by default). When checked, the user’s account is immediately authorized and active upon creation. Uncheck if you want to create the account but hold off on granting access. |
| Send Password Email | Checkbox (checked by default). When checked, Valkre automatically sends a welcome/password-setup email to each new user. Uncheck if you are SSO enabled and the user does not require a password. |
| + Add [N] Users button | The submit button. The number in the button reflects how many users are ready to be added. Click to create all listed user accounts. |
Step-by-Step: Adding Users
| 1 | Open the Modal
|
| 2 | Enter User Information
|
| 3 | Select a Role
|
| 4 | Set Access Options
|
| 5 | Submit
|
| NOTE | If you are using Single Sign-On (SSO), uncheck Send Password Email to avoid confusing users with a Valkre-specific password setup email. SSO users authenticate through your identity provider, not a Valkre password. |
| TIP | Use the Paste from Excel method when onboarding 5 or more users at once. Prepare your list in a spreadsheet with three columns (Email, First Name, Last Name), copy the data rows, and paste directly into the modal — it’s significantly faster than manual entry. |
Exporting User Data
The Export button downloads the current user list as a file, allowing you to review or share user data outside of Valkre.
|
| TIP | Run a full export regularly as an administrative audit record. This gives you a snapshot of all users, their types, and titles at a point in time. |

Frequently Asked Questions
Why can’t I see the + Add Users button?
The + Add Users button is only visible to administrators. If you do not see it, your account does not have admin-level access to the User Network page. Contact your Valkre administrator to request user management access.
How do I resend an invitation to a Pending user?
Click the user’s name in the user list to open their profile, click the actions dropdown, then settings, then look for a Resend Invitation option. If the user still does not receive the email, verify the email address is correct and ask them to check their spam folder.
How do I deactivate a user?
Click the user’s name to open their profile, click the actions dropdown, then settings and look the Remove Access button. Deactivated users cannot log in but their data (account plans, interactions, notes) is retained. This is the recommended approach when a user leaves the organization.
What is the difference between User Type and Role?
User Type is a broader classification that helps with higher level reporting. Role is a more granular configuration that controls which modules, features, and dashboard widgets are visible to the user. Both are assigned to each user and work together to define their experience.
Can I edit a user’s details after they have been created?
Yes. Click the user’s name in the list to open their profile, where you can update their name, title, email, user type, role, and access settings, etc. Changes take effect immediately.
What does the Export file contain?
The export file contains the data visible in the user list — typically First Name, Last Name, Title, and Type — for all users matching your current filter. The exact columns may vary depending on your Valkre configuration.
