In this next release, Valkre will automatically create snapshots of the Customer Scorecard data as they are managed over time...or 'versions' of the Customer Scorecards. By creating these time-based snapshots, the User Experience will be simplified, a better dataset to track change over time will be available, and any changes made to the Customer Scorecards will be included automatically as the Scorecards are updated.
For Account Teams managing these scorecards, they might notice there is no longer a 'new' button above the Change of Time visual. Now, creating a new version is done automatically.
When a User clicks Edit, the Valkre will check and see if there have already been edits made on the current Day. If so, any changes will simply be saved as part of "today's" snapshot. If no edits have been made on that day, then a new version will automatically be created for the user.
When a new version is created, any changes to the underling template will be applied. In addition, the Answers and Comments will be retained for this new version unless a Question's Name or Answer has been changed. In that case, the User will need to reselect the value.
Users can track changes to the Scorecard using the Change Over Time Widget. Clicking on an item in this widget will bring up the results for further viewing.
